Hello, my name is David Manel. I am a college professor in Pittsburgh and avid baseball fan. This blog is the product of my resolve to finally spend more time researching and writing about a sport that has been my lifelong passion.

I grew up outside of Detroit, and have lived in Pittsburgh for the past 12 years. I follow both the Pirates and the Tigers closely.
